【影子】

    六月里的一天，青草对榆树的影子说："你左右摇晃得过于频繁了，你扰乱了我的安静。"

    影子答道："不是我，不是我。朝天空看吧。有一棵树，在太阳和大地之间，在风中左右摇晃着哩。"

    青草便抬起头来，第一次看到了那榆树。青草在心中忖思："哎，瞧瞧，有一棵比我还大的青草哩。"

    于是青草就默不作声了。

    upon a june day the grass said to the shadow of an elm tree, "you move to right and left over-often, and you disturb my peace."
